Tandemloc offers these AK24 and AK25 series bottom lift sling and spreader beams as one of the methods for lifting standard ISO containers with a crane.
Time: 0:10-0:18
These economical assemblies come with all the equipment needed to lift an ISO container. This is the AK24A000-00A-PA, designed to lift standard 20-foot containers with a max weight of 52,900 pounds.
Time: 0:18-0:28
The AK25A000-00A-PA is meant for use with standard 20-foot ISO containers that have a max weight of 67,200 pounds. For 40-foot containers that have a max weight of 67,200 pounds, we offer the AK25A000-01A-PA.
Time: 0:28-0:43
This bottom lift sling and spreader beam is the AK25A000-20A-PA with sling leg extensions, so it can be used on 40-foot containers. By removing the leg extensions, the AK25A000-01A-PA can also be used to lift 20-foot containers.
Time: 0:43-1:10
Unless a spreader is used to directly interface with the top corner fittings at a ninety-degree vertical pull, ISO 3874 standards require that all loaded containers be lifted using a sling from the bottom corner fittings. When using these AK24 and AK25 sling assemblies, the Tandemloc rotary lift lug is inserted into the bottom corner fitting side hole. The sling angle from horizontal must be greater than 45 degrees.
Time: 1:10-1:51
All three AK24 and AK25 sling assemblies meet ISO 3874 and ASME B30.20 standards. They are also proof tested to 125% of the working load limit.
