Tandemloc was incorporated in 1984 as a manufacturing company for products in the intermodal industry.

Tandemloc has been manufacturing products in North Carolina since 1992 when the business was relocated from Long Island, New York. The business started as a family business and is still being led by family members to this day.

As time has gone on, Tandemloc has developed a large product base for multiple industries including intermodal, construction, aerospace, DoD, crane rigging, etc. Throughout the years, Tandemloc has taken on many jobs that range from working with local businesses to handling contracts for the DoD during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

More recently, Tandemloc has worked with Boeing and NASA to manufacture custom products. These are just some of the things that show how versatile Tandemloc is in designing and manufacturing solutions to a wide range of applications.

Over the years, Tandemloc made a very conscious effort to provide a safe working environment that produces quality products. Because of these efforts, we have been awarded the OSHA SHARP certification 10 years running, one of the only few dozen private businesses to have done so in North Carolina.

Tandemloc has been able to become ISO 9001:2015 certified without issues because of our consistent focus on quality. Now, almost 40 years later, Tandemloc is a 100,000+ square foot facility with dozens of patents and product lines. With our dedication to quality products that have been proof tested and as an industry leader in below-the-hook manufacturing, Tandemloc looks towards the future and what it holds.
