The QA department receives and verifies the raw material to make sure it meets these specifications, and every subsequent process is subject to a first-piece inspection.

When manufacturing our products, we use the most up-to-date standards from the American Welding Society outlined in ASME B30.20. This ensures all our welds are current and of the highest quality.

After our below-the-hook products have been welded, we make sure each item is proof tested before it leaves our facility.

Not all standards require proof tests for below-the-hook products. However, some standards, like OSHA 2232, require that the item is tested prior to use.

Here at Tandemloc, we not only want to proof test as a safety measure but also want our products to be ready for field use. Four products are painted and assembled after they have been proof tested.

The Tandemloc Quality Assurance Department uses non-destructive testing on all structural welds to make sure there are no deformities.

Right before assembly, the products are painted with high-quality two-part epoxy marine paint. This paint is meant to endure rough environments and stand up well. If there is a need for more corrosion resistance, we can apply a coat of thermal zinc. This process is similar to galvanizing.

Last but not least, the products are assembled by our very knowledgeable industrial technicians.
