This Autoloc® Spreader was designed for a Department of Homeland Security application needed to lift "mini containers" containing sand.
Although the 12' long 'mini-container' is relatively small, the weight was not - 75,000 lbs. It needed to be lifted and stacked upon other shipping containers. Tandemloc designed and manufactured a customized spreader incorporating the rugged, proven components used on our Autoloc® spreaders for lifting standard ISO containers. Incorporating standard ISO 1161 Corner Fittings into your "box" design will open up many opportunities to use lifting and tie-down devices.
