The TANDEMLOC Autobar makes container lifting simple. This is a two-crane lift system; Autobars are sold and priced individually.
Autobar’s have two twistlock bayonets that are activated by slacking and tensioning the sling. Just like the TANDEMLOC Autoloc® Spreader, the bayonets twist each time the sling assembly is fully slackened, alternating between lock and unlock.
The activator cable links the Autobar gearbox arm located near the center of the spreader to the master link (This cable does not carry any of the lifted load.) The Autobar system linkage operates the bayonets each time the sling is slackened.

Key Features:
- Simple mechanical operation - no electronics or hydraulics. Twistlocks lock/unlock when sling wires are slackened. More convenient to use than manual spreaders as there is no ground personnel required to lock/unlock twistlocks. Two leg chain sling is standard.
- Removable alignment guides allow the crane operator to easily locate the spreader onto the waiting container. Indicator Flags are attached directly to the bayonets and provide a positive visual cue of locked or unlocked bayonets.
