Tandemloc End Caps are the critical component to the most versatile spreader beam assemblies on the market. You are not stuck with a fixed length when you purchase Tandemloc End Caps.

Depending on the model, the End Caps offer an almost infinite number of spreads and working load limits. We offer models that fit 3-inch diameter pipe up to 32 inches, and these spreader beam assembly working load limits range from 14 tons to 1,104 tons.

This is our newly designed telescopic pipe kit that goes with our End Caps. The telescopic design allows the user to adjust between multiple spans very quickly.

The End Caps can also use a fixed section of pipe that we supply. If we supply the pipe, it'll be cut to length, sandblasted, proof tested, serialized, and painted. All this is done to meet ASME B30.20.

If you're looking to save on shipping costs, the pipe can be procured locally. If selecting pipe for the spreader beam, the 3-inch to 8-inch End Caps require standard Schedule 80 heavy-duty pipe found at almost all pipe dealers. The 10-inch End Caps and larger are designed to use Schedule 60 pipe.

Lastly, the pipe sleeve can be used, allowing the spreader beam to use two sections of pipe to make one spreader beam. The pipe sections are not required to be of equal length.

At tandemloc.com on the End Cap web page, we have an industry-first app to assist in the planning and use of our End Cap spreader beams. The app works on a smartphone or tablet for use in the field. By simply entering the needed beam spread, capacity, and sling angle, the End Cap app will suggest the correct End Cap for use in your lift.

If you already own a specific End Cap, you can evaluate it to make sure that it meets the requirements of your lift. We have also developed the app to evaluate each span of the telescopic pipe kits.

After selecting your End Caps and pipe kit, you can enter the capacity and spread to make sure they meet all the lift requirements. This app gives our customers extra confidence in using our products for their lift. All Tandemloc End Caps are proof tested to 125% of the working load limit. If we supply the telescopic pipe or fixed lengths of pipe, it can also be proof tested to 125% of the working load limit. Along with our standard proof test, we design and manufacture to meet or exceed industry standards.
